Name: Jeremy Vasquez
Nicknames/Aliases: Were (as in were-wolf... or were-cat)
Hades' designation: N/A
Age (at first appearance): 17
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 160 lbs.
Hair: Dark Auburn
Eyes: Green, pupils vary in shape and size, from round to cat-like
Skin: Orange, covered all over with a thick, short fuzz. Rust colored stripes.
Style of Dress: He likes thrift-store shirts, particularly western-style cowboy shirts, or tee-shirts with amusing logos on them. He, much like Byron, likes showing off his lean, wiry muscles, particularly in the company of the Refugees, where he doesn’t feel he has to hide his appearance.
Personality: Easy-going, with a somewhat fatalistic cynicism, Jeremy has difficulty trusting most people, but feels he may have found his niche in the Refugees. He is immediately drawn to Alex, but he feels too intimidated to speak to her about it because of her sisterly relationship with the other male members. His appearance prevented him from leading a normal life in his home town in California, and rather than see his family ostracized because of him, he ran to New York. He is good with computers, particularly with building and tinkering with electronics, and his skills make him a natural partner with Stone, and Jeremy has found a drinking buddy in Byron. He is fluent both in Spanish and English, and he writes poetry in both languages in his private journal.
Abilities: Jeremy’s presence makes Nick feel a little better about himself, simply because Jeremy’s abilities are even more useless: He can see really well. He can see in utter darkness, he can see underwater, he can see in all sorts of strange situations. Also, he looks strange. His abilities are a sort of running joke with his friends, since, let’s face it, it really is usually pointless. His fuzziness, his stripes, his pointy ears, and his claw-like, retractable fingernails are all secondary attributes… really, really cute ones., but also essentially useless. His appearance didn’t start developing until he was around 14, so he at least had a normal childhood.
Noteworthy relationships: Karida (younger sister, Gifted)
