Style of Dress: Constellation’s mother is executive officer at a leading fashion house in New York. Her work regularly takes her around the world for fashion shows and photo shoots, and her work has greatly influenced Constellation’s wardrobe. She often wears designer shirts paired with thrift-store skirts, or outfits she sewed herself. She sometimes wears her hair in spikes, sometimes under a scarf, sometimes as an afro. She’s utterly unpredictable in her manner of dress, and she has the body to pull it all off. Her mother has high hopes for her modeling career.
Personality: Vivacious and personable, assertive and witty, Constellation can make friends with everyone in a room within five minutes of entering it. She is intensely creative and artistic, a wonderful painter and seamstress, and although her mother wants her to go into modeling, she would rather be a fashion designer. She is resourceful and driven to succeed in anything she attempts. Her fun-loving personality leads many to dismiss her as a flighty valley-girl, but she is most certainly not. Her closest friend in the Refugees is Alex, perhaps because the two of them are the only two female members for a little while in the beginning, and she is responsible for dragging Alex to many “girl’s nights out.”
She is the first Gifted the original four made contact with upon reaching New York, and as such she is usually considered a founding member of the group. She is also the only founding member to continue to have a “normal” life outside of the Refugees, and she acts as liaison to the outside world for the rest of the members. Her mother’s travel allows her to visit them often, and gives her free reign in the city as well.
Abilities: Constellation has the ability to create stasis fields which halt the flow of time within them. These fields allow her to levitate objects or place living beings in a state of suspension until she releases them. Although she is attempting larger and larger fields, her limit seems to be a field about the size of a large adult human. The more alert and resistant a human when she creates the field around them, the more difficult it is for her to maintain, although objects create no problem at all.
Appearance of Abilities: The stasis fields appear to be opalescent viscous blobs suspended in the air.
Noteworthy relationships: Stone (boyfriend, Refugee)
